Time Change & Smoke Alarms

It's that time again. Daylight savings time change, which means to move your clocks ahead by one hour.  Of course you know that, but do you do the other things that are important? Like, change the batteries in your smoke detectors and revisit your 72hour emergency bag to update it.  Speaking of smoke detectors, I saw this box and thought about a few things.

Halloween is a great time of year. The weather is cool; we let our children dress up and go running door to door saying “trick-or-treat”. The scary part is not all the ghost and goblins, but the unfortunate things that could happen if you are not prepared. Be prepared and to practice what you know. Purchase a weather radio with S.A.M.E. technology or tune in to your local radio station and listen for E.B.S. messages and follow their directions.
